Netflix has released the trailer for the second and final half of “The Crown” Season 6, concluding the reign of the award-winning period drama.

Part 2 of the final season, which premiered its first four episodes on Nov. 16, will pick up in the aftermath of Princess Diana’s death as Queen Elizabeth (played by Imelda Staunton) must reflect on her life and legacy and pave the way for her successors, Charles and William.

Showtime has announced that the Emmy-nominated drama “Yellowjackets” will return for Season 2 on March 24 for all streaming and on-demand Showtime subscribers, before making its on-air debut on March 26 at 9 p.m. Et/Pt. Produced by studio Entertainment One, the series is currently in production in Vancouver.

Created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, the series stars Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci and Tawny Cypress. Lauren Ambrose and Simone Kessell have also joined the second season as series regulars, along with Elijah Wood in a season-long guest arc. Season 2 also stars Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole and Kevin Alves.

Bumpy Johnson is back, and he’s ready to reclaim his territory in the Season 3 of “Godfather of Harlem.” In an exclusive clip and two exclusive photos, Johnson weighs his options as he sets his sights on new opportunities. Season 3 is set to premiere Jan. 15, 2023, on MGM+.

“If I go south of 110th St., I gotta smile, bow and and scrape. If I assert myself to a white man in a way that he doesn’t like, I get billy clubbed and I get put in jail. But, up here, it’s different. I get respect. I call the shots. Me, and me alone,” says Johnson, who is played by Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker, in an exclusive clip.

In each shot of the teaser, viewers get a glance of Johnson’s next business deals and business partners, and the harsh realities and the Black community faced during the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

Godfather of Harlem has a premiere date for its third season. The new season will arrive on January 15th, on the same day that is rebranded as MGM+. Forest Whitaker, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ilfenesh Hadera, Lucy Fry, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, and Giancarlo Esposito star in the series that follows the life of crime boss Bumpy Johnson (Whitaker). Epix has renewed the Forest Whitaker-led Godfather of Harlem for a 10-episode third season.

The critically acclaimed drama from ABC Signature is scheduled to begin production on Season 3 in New York this summer.

The renewal follows a strong second season, Epix’s best-performing season of all time, according to the network. The series broke records for any single title streams in a single day across Epix’s digital platforms, and the season two finale was the network’s best performing finale episode to date, according to Epix.

Just one week after TVLine exclusively reported that Castle would soon make its streaming premiere on Hulu, the former ABC romantic procedural is getting a new syndicated home.

The series starring Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic — which previously aired reruns on TNT — is moving to Lifetime, where it will air Tuesdays, beginning Oct. 5 at 2 pm Et/Pt. Episodes will air through November, after which the show will take a brief hiatus until January 2022 to accommodate the network’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” holiday movie event.

An all-star team is behind FX’s upcoming drama pilot “Kindred,” the network’s adaptation of Octavia E. Butler’s acclaimed 1979 novel.

FX announced on Wednesday that Janicza Bravo, who recently directed the heralded 2020 film “Zola,” will direct the FX show’s pilot episode. “Kindred” will be executive produced by Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields (showrunners on “The Americans”), as well as Darren Aronofsky, the director of “Black Swan” and “Mother!” Additional executive producers include Bravo, series writer Branden Jacobs-Jenkins (“Watchmen”), Courtney Lee-Mitchell, Ari Handel, Ernestine Walker, and Merrilee Heifetz.

The series’ cast includes Micah Stock, Ryan Kwanten, Gayle Rankin, Austin Smith, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, and David Alexander Kaplan, who will join the previously announced Mallori Johnson as regulars on “Kindred.”

FX announced that the pilot based on Octavia Butler’s 1979 science fiction novel “Kindred” has cast Micah Stock, Ryan Kwanten, Gayle Rankin, Austin Smith, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy and David Alexander Kaplan as series regulars.

They join previously announced cast member Mallori Johnson, who will play the lead role of Dana, a young Black writer who finds herself transported back and forth between the present and a 19th century slave plantation.

Stock is primarily known for his stage work, including his Tony-nominated performance as Gus in Terrence McNally’s “It’s Only a Play.” He will also star in John Slattery’s upcoming film “Maggie Moore(s)” alongside Jon Hamm and Tina Fey. His other credits include Netflix’s “Bonding,” Disney Plus’ “The Right Stuff,” and Paul Downs Colaizzo’s film “Brittany Runs A Marathon.” Stock is repped by ICM, Anonymous Content and ID.

From 2008 to 2014, Kwanten starred as Jason Stackhouse in HBO’s True Blood.

Rebecca Hall earned stellar reviews for making the jump from actress to director in “Passing,” her feature debut behind the camera that earned universal acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. Hall adapted Nella Larsen’s 1929 novel of the same name for her directorial debut, which pairs Tessa Thompson and “Loving” Oscar nominee Ruth Negga. Bumpy Johnson’s wild ride through New York’s criminal underworld continues on August 8, when Godfather of Harlem returns for the back half of its second season.

In Epix’s crime drama created by Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein, Oscar winner Forest Whitaker plays the infamous crime boss, who wars with the Italian mob to regain control of his home turf when he gets out of Alcatraz in the early 1960s, aligning himself at the same time with Malcolm X (Nigel Thatch).

In Season 2, the series continues to examine the connection between crime, politics and systemic racism in America, then and now.
