Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter about her role as Angela Norris in Landman, Ali Larter revealed that the cast and crew are "midway" through filming season 2. Just like the first season, filming will take five months total, per Larter. The actress shared that getting back to work for season 2 hasn't been as challenging since they have gotten to know the tone, characters, and workflow:

"We did the work last year so now we’re kind of on our way.

ITV Studios has named Tim Carter, currently CEO of ITV Studios’ MultiStory Media and Twofour, as managing director of Unscripted, U.K. He replaces Angela Jain, who has joined Disney+ as head of content, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

He will assume responsibility for all of ITV Studios’ unscripted business in the U.K., which houses 11 unscripted labels. He will report directly to Julian Bellamy, managing director ITV Studios and will sit on the U.K. Management Team. Between them, the labels are responsible for the creation and production of some of the most successful global formats, including “Love Island,” “The Chase,” “I’m a Celebrity…..Get Me Out of Here!” and “Come Dine With Me,” as well as upcoming shows including “The Neighbourhood,” “Celebrity Sabotage” and “Sharks! Celebrity Infested Waters!”

Carter takes on the overall P&l responsibility for the U.K. unscripted group, with the MDs of the unscripted U.

Production on Landman Season 2 is firing on all cylinders, and Taylor Sheridan’s hit 2024 series has found even more streaming success at a shocking time. Landman has snuck back into the Paramount+ top 10 almost five months removed from the Season 1 finale, sitting at #10 at the time of writing. This is likely a result of the wave of Season 2 news that Sheridan, star Billy Bob Thornton, and others have been dropping about the series as it prepares to return to Paramount+ later this year. Landman was recently unseated on streaming charts by MobLand, the Guy Ritchie-directed crime series starring Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan, which is still sitting comfortably at #8 at the time of writing.
