If Marvel ever runs out of plots, they might want to consider this one: Spider-Man and Shang-Chi face off… on a padel court. In a newly surfaced video shared by MCU Film News, Tom Holland and Simu Liu are seen trading volleys, laughter, and what looks like the beginnings of a real-life superhero brotherhood.

Both dressed in breezy tees and shorts, the duo played a friendly game of padel (imagine tennis in a phone booth) at a casual outdoor club surrounded by green fencing and “Social Club” signage.
As expected, it’s getting fans buzzing about Holland’s possible role in Avengers: Doomsday. This on‑court camaraderie between the Spider‑Man and Shang‑Chi stars is contrasted sharply with the tight‑lipped secrecy swirling around Holland’s status on Avengers: Doomsday.

Carlos Alcaraz returns to Wimbledon chasing a third straight title in a historic edition with £53.5 million in prize money.
Carlos Alcaraz is back on the grass at Wimbledon, and all eyes are on him. The 22-year-old Spaniard, already a two-time champion at SW19, returns as the top contender to make it a hat-trick of titles—a feat that would further cement his dominance on all surfaces.
Fresh off a second consecutive Roland-Garros win, Alcaraz enters the tournament in peak form. His explosive game, fearless mindset and adaptability on grass make him the man to beat. But the road to the trophy is far from easy, with Novak Djokovic hunting a record 25th Grand Slam title, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner seeking his first major on grass, and British No. 1 Jack Draper coming off the best season of his career.

For the first time in a decade, Coco Gauff has won the French Open title for the United States, marking her first victory at Roland-Garros.
The world’s No. 2 in women’s singles defeated top-ranked Belarusian, Aryna Sabalenka 6-7 (5), 6-2, 6-4, during Saturday’s final in Paris, the first American to win the title since Serena Williams in 2015.
The match also marked the first No. 1 vs. No. 2 match at the French Open since Serena Williams defeated Maria Sharapova in 2013.
“I honestly didn’t think I could do it,” said Gauff after her win. “But I’m going to quote Tyler the Creator who said, ‘If I ever told you I had a doubt inside me, I must be lying.’ I think I was lying to myself, and I definitely could do it.”
After her Grand Slam loss at age 18 in 2022 put Gauff in a “dark place,” she thanked her fans for their support.

The final Grand Slam on the tennis calendar, the US Open, begins play at the Usta Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York, on Monday, August 26. Can reigning champion Coco Gauff (pictured above) bounce back after a difficult summer that included an early exit from Wimbledon and a disappointing Olympic tournament? Gauff is seeded No. 3 at the US Open. Gauff’s repeat bid will be challenged by No. 1 seed Iga Świątek, 2024 Olympic bronze medal winner and current French Open champion. Other title hopefuls include Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula, Jasmine Paolini and Olympic gold medalist Qinwen Zheng.
