Hallmark fans are looking forward to four new, original rom-coms during the network’s Spring Into Love programming event, Hearts Around The Table.

The fourth movie is Kiki’s Fourth Ingredient, starring Kathryn Davis, Torrance Coombs and Mindy Cohn and its logline is “Fostering a taste for love.”

After scaring up $30 million at the box office worldwide, the Valentine’s Day-themed slasher movie Heart Eyes is now available on Digital at home courtesy of Sony.

Josh Ruben (Werewolves Within, Scare Me) directed Heart Eyes, with Mason Gooding (Scream) and Olivia Holt (“Cruel Summer”) starring in the romantic slasher.

You can rent the film on Digital outlets now for $19.99 or purchase it for $24.99. We’ve also learned that Heart Eyes will be slashing into DVD & Blu-ray on April 15.

Tomorrow, March 4th, Uncork’d Entertainment will be giving the action horror film Armed a Digital and On Demand – and to help you decide whether or not this is a flick you’d like to check out, we have the trailer embedded above.

Directed by Neil Mackay, whose credits include Battleground, Sixty Minutes to Midnight, and Death Hunt, Armed has the following synopsis: A group of veteran marines steal a shipment of weapons from the military only to find a Cold War era robot that hunts them down, determined to complete its mission. Death Hunt opens as a young Tj (Riley Lewis) is taking some target practice. His father explains to him how to calculate the effect of the wind on the bullet as he shifts his aim from the paper target to his real target, a man tied to a tree.

Years later Ray (Omar Tucci) is in rural Crawford County trying to get the locals to sell their farms so he can develop the land. Mayor Dolan seems to be on board, but the townsfolk aren’t overly enthusiastic and the meeting doesn’t go well. Needing to recover he hops in his Trans Am where his mistress Brooke (Marlene Malcolm; Dark Side of the Ring) is waiting for him and they head off for a weekend getaway.

The prize sponsored by Maida Lynn’s Genuine Article Pictures was established to help lift the financial burdens on indie film producers and to help build the independent film community through leadership and mentoring. It’s different from other filmmaking grants in that it supports the producer and is not based on a project or specific work.
