After DC Glory, John Cena Steals Dwayne Johnson’s Most Prized Possession for Next Movie
Image
John Cena is set to star in Netflix’s next big action-comedy alongside Kevin Hart, becoming the second WWE star to share the screen with the comedian, after Dwayne Johnson. The Leading Man is an adaptation of the Jeremy Haun and B. Clay Moore comic series, where Cena will be a self-absorbed movie star who discovers that his co-star, played by Hart, is a real-life agent (via Deadline).

At this moment, Cena is riding the DC high! He’s delivered a crowd-pleasing cameo in Superman, and James Gunn’s reboot feature is having an excellent box office run, having made $578.8 million worldwide (via The Numbers). Plus, he’s also ready to return as the brash antihero in Peacemaker season 2.

Roman Reigns’ Quentin Tarantino-Style Strategy Could Change His Hollywood Career
Image
Roman Reigns is Hollywood-bound, and he has adopted the Quentin Tarantino strategy that will make him the next Dwayne Johnson. During an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, The Tribal Chief spilled the beans on how he decided to be extremely selective about his films, similar to Tarantino, keeping his calendar open for other ventures.

While talking to the media outlet, Reigns shared that his WWE contract is nearing its end, and he thinks that it’s time to take on a less physically intense form of entertainment. Thus, hinting at transitioning to the film industry and doing roles that intrigue him. He said,

After I finish the contract that I’m in, we probably got another year or two max. Then it’s time to take on a less physical form of entertainment. I almost want to model it after Tarantino, where we’re not just doing anything and everything.

The Only WWE Title John Cena Has Not Won in His 23-Year-Long Career
Image
John Cena has yet to win one prestigious title in the WWE, the Intercontinental Championship. And since he missed out on this recognition, he is one of the few WWE longtimers to not have a Grand Slam in his career. After winning his record 17th Championship title at WrestleMania 41 this year, Cena would love to add a Grand Slam title to the mix as well.

In WWE, the Grand Slam Championship is an honor bestowed upon wrestlers who have won at least four certain titles in their career. Interestingly, a wrestler must have achieved the Triple Crown Championship by winning three titles to achieve the Grand Slam with the fourth one. However, only winning the WWE Championship would earn you the Triple Crown title.

So, what does he need to become a Grand Slam Champion? According to the modern rules, a WWE wrestler should have held the following titles to...

WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer’s Face Paint Honors a Japanese Tradition
Image
If there’s one WWE superstar who has risen to prominence in recent times, it’s Stephanie Vaquer. Apart from being WWE’s sweetheart, she has asserted domination inside the ring. One noticeable feature of her persona is the face paint, which is both distinct and beautiful. During an interview with WrestleZone, she revealed that the Japanese practice of Kintsugi is the inspiration behind black and gold stripes on her face.

According to Vaquer, Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese art form that involves repairing broken pottery by mending the cracks with gold. Rather than hiding the damage, Kintsugi highlights it, turning the breakage into a unique and beautiful part of the object’s history. The philosophy behind Kintsugi embraces imperfection. The story behind Vaquer taking inspiration from it is equally interesting.

‘WWE SummerSlam 2025: Night 2’ Review
Image
After a chaotic, story-heavy Night 1, WWE returned to MetLife Stadium for the second half of its ambitious two-night SummerSlam event. Night 2 focused more on emotional storytelling and satisfying conclusions, though, true to WWE form, it still delivered one last gut-punch surprise before the lights went out.

Things kicked off with a fast-paced Triple Threat for the Women’s World Championship, with Naomi, Rhea Ripley, and Iyo Sky putting on one of the better opening matches of the year. Naomi retained her title with a clever roll-up after Ripley nailed Sky with a massive avalanche Riptide. It was quick, chaotic, and crisp. After the bell, Ripley’s gesture of lifting an injured Sky onto her back earned her huge cheers, an unexpected emotional beat that set the tone for the rest of the night.

Next up, Becky Lynch defended her Women’s Intercontinental Title in a brutal no-disqualification match against Lyra Valkyria.

WWE Raw: Naomi Disrespect Is Not Ending Anytime Soon and This Moment Proves It
Image
Naomi just held on to her WWE Championship in a triple-threat match against stars like Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky, but despite the dominating victory, it doesn’t really feel like she’s getting the respect she deserves. On the latest episode of Raw, she was in the middle of a promo, calling the women she’s got issues with, but right in the middle of it, WWE cut to commercial.

Cutting off a current champion of the roster mid-promo felt like a straight-up slap in the face. There’s no clear reason behind it; maybe it was just a timing thing since WWE episodes are always on a tight schedule.

SummerSlam Night 2 Results: Brock Lesnar Attacks John Cena, Cody Rhodes Wins Title & More
Image
WWE SummerSlam Night 2 is officially over, and we have a lot to talk about. John Cena finally lost his championship to Cody Rhodes in an absolute thriller of a match. But the biggest shock came right after, when Brock Lesnar showed up out of nowhere and attacked Cena out of the blue.

The night was full of surprises, like Bayley jumping into the fight between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria, and the chaos during the Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa match with the Mft and Jimmy Uso getting involved. It was one twist after another all night long.

Honestly, after the amazing show Triple H put on for Night 1, we had a feeling Night 2 would be just as wild, and it didn’t disappoint. Triple H started the show with one simple promise that Night 2 was gonna be bigger, better, and make Night 1 look like just a warm-up, and it...

Proof That Rhea Ripley Was Obsessed With Her WWE Crush: It’s Not Her Husband Buddy Matthews
Image
Long before she became WWE’s Eradicator and tied the knot with Buddy Matthews, Rhea Ripley was your average fangirl with cardboard cutouts of her crushes. And while she didn’t have Zac Efron from ‘High School Musical’ in her room, she sure did have professional wrestler, Michael “The Miz” Mizanin.

Not only was she a superfan of the WWE Champion, but she also had a life-size cardboard cutout of the man. The cutout showed Mizanin, wearing nothing but a pair of underwear with his signature phrase, “I’m Awesome” printed on it.

It looks like his head was also adorned with a headband that read, “B’day Boy”. In a picture that either many of you forgot or never saw, a young Rhea Ripley stood beside the cutout, posing, as party streamers were scattered across the room.

Check it out:

Blake Monroe is slowly making waves as one of the top talents in WWE’s developmental territories, Nxt. She made a mark in professional wrestling with her two-year tenure in rival promotion, All Elite Wrestling. However, this proved to be pivotal for her career and led to her signing with the Global Juggernaut of Wrestling in 2025.

While the fans are very much aware of her onscreen character, hard-hitting matches, and rivalry with stars like Toni Storm in Aew, there is a completely different side to Monroe behind the scenes. Here are ten lesser-known facts about WWE Nxt’s bombshell signing:

WWE Unreal: Triple H Shut Down the Craziest Royal Rumble Ending WWE Ever Considered
Image
WWE Unreal has unravelled new talking points amongst wrestling enthusiasts. One such development surfaced during the planning of the Women’s Royal Rumble 2025, when Ed Koskey, the Senior Vice President of Creative Writing in the WWE, suggested that Chelsea Green should win the women’s Royal Rumble this year. Fortunately, WWE creative, spearheaded by Triple H, did not pursue this idea altogether for the Rumble this year.

However, his suggestion for how the former Women’s United States Champion could win the Royal Rumble was nothing short of unconventional. He proposed that entrant #29 would cause a double elimination, leaving no one in the ring. As a result, entrant #30, Chelsea Green, would win the match by simply entering as the last remaining competitor.

The revelation unveiled the kind of brainstorming the creative heads of the company perform behind the scenes before Ple events. Additionally, other names were also discussed between the...

Rhea Ripley Dating Dominik Mysterio With Her Greek Goddess Physique Is Hard to Believe, Says Cm Punk
Image
Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio’s onscreen act has played wonders for their WWE careers, where both wrestlers have grown to be absolute fan favorites. However, for Cm Punk, it was quite hard to believe that WWE really pitched such a storyline, where a woman like Ripley was with Dirty Dom.

Punk and Ripley both appeared as guests on E-Man’s Movie Reviews podcast to promote WWE: Unreal, The Best in the World, shared how nobody is going to believe that the Eradicator is in a relationship with Dom, and mocked the pitch. He said,

One time, they wanted her to be in a relationship with Dominic Mysterio. Who’s going to believe that? Who’s going to believe that? Hey everybody, here’s a Greek goddess, and she’s with this f**king nerd. Like, come on. Come on. That’s exposing that exposes the business more than anything...

‘WWE: Unreal’ Review: Netflix Docuseries Is Too Polished, Skips WrestleMania Drama
Image
“We’re going to lift the curtain. We are going to show you things you’ve never seen in this show,” WWE Hall of Famer and Chief Content Officer Triple H said in announcing its docuseries collaboration with Netflix. The question is, do we really need to see this?

“WWE: Unreal” gives the audience unprecedented access, going backstage with WWE Superstars and staff as they bring the company’s biggest spectacles to life from the Royal Rumble to WrestleMania.

When I was younger, I believed that The Undertaker was a dead man walking, Umaga was a tribal chief and Vince McMahon was an egomaniacal billionaire… Maybe that last one was true. There was a real magic in keeping kayfabe alive as audiences get lost in the compelling storylines that make the matches and rivalries more believable.

The upcoming Netflix sports documentary is controversial within the wrestling fan community as it...

Did Cm Punk and Seth Rollins Pay Tribute to Hulk Hogan Despite the Hatred for the WWE Legend?
Image
Hulk Hogan has been quite a controversial figure in WWE, but that has not stopped WWE from giving him a fitting tribute last week on SmackDown and tonight on Raw. What made it more intriguing is how Cm Punk, the man who loathed The Hulkamaniac to the core, was present on the front row during his tribute. In his typical manner, Punk facially expressed that he was not too thrilled to be there.

However, not everyone had the same character growth as the Second City Saint. Seth Rollins and Aj Styles, who equally detest the wrestling icon, were absent during the 10-bell salute. Rollins’ absence could be understood, but Styles, who was later part of the show with the Kabuki Warriors, was taking on the Judgement Day. Thus, subtly conveying their indifference towards the Hall of Famer’s demise at the age of 71.

Rhea Ripley asks fans to treat her as human, while Cm Punk tells us what it’s like to hear he was supposed to win Mania main event
Image
Wrestling has never been bigger than it’s been these last few years. Yes, according to the numbers, that would even include the Attitude Era. And it’s thanks to stars like Cm Punk and Rhea Ripley, who have accumulated massive fanbases that transcended the wrestling world. And with WWE going to Netflix earlier this year, the brand has never had a wider reach. And they’re trying to capitalize on that with a new documentary series that takes a look at the behind-the-scenes to a degree that we haven’t quite seen before. Sure, we’ve seen plenty of documentaries in the past, but WWE Unreal gets into the creative process more than ever, even showing us the writing room during key moments from Wrestlemania Season.

Cm Punk and Rhea Ripley are two of my favorite wrestlers of all time, so it was an absolute honor to interview them for WWE Unreal.

Sid Vicious Cause of Death: Behind the Untold Story of Former WWF Champion
Image
WWE legend Sid Vicious came from the golden age of wrestling that was prevalent in the 1990s. Then known as WWF, which Vince McMahon later turned into WWE, Sid was a relatively prominent name in the business. Dubbed as ‘Sycho Sid’, he was a dangerous, unorthodox character in the company who was wrestling in the main event scene.

He remained an active competitor for a number of years and battled various professional and personal demons throughout his life. Finally, over two decades after Sid Vicious had outlasted his prime as a wrestler, he met with a tragic end to his life.

Why Netflix’s WWE Documentary ‘Unreal’ Will Be Different Than Anything You’ve Ever Seen
Image
In recent years, wrestling has once again gained prominence, thanks to Paul “Triple H” Levesque for introducing some positive changes in WWE. This shift marked a new era in the company, signing new talents, who will ensure a safe environment inside the ring, which perhaps is one of the biggest changes in the history of WWE.

The matches are more intense and carry more drama, which sometimes seeps through the camera to backstage. While WWE has released several documentaries that show us what happens behind the scenes of the wrestling brand, busting the myth with WWE: Unreal. The latest 5-episode docuseries would feature real insight into what goes on backstage that turns a WWE Superstar into a WWE attraction.

What makes Unreal a distinct documentary is how the Cco talked in the trailer about the work that goes into creating a phenomenal storyline that will take you by surprise. However,...

Cm Punk vs Gunther: Triple H’s Awful Booking Comes Back to Haunt Him

The stage is set for SummerSlam 2025, where Cm Punk will come face to face with Gunther, the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The match is deemed a once-in-a-lifetime experience, where the two greats of wrestling will face off at the biggest premium live event of the summer. However, Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s creative decision has once again come into the picture, which makes fans hate him to the core.

Tonight’s Monday Night Raw segment had the potential to be the most explosive one, where the two wrestlers confronted each other in a battle of words. The Ring General explained how he will make Punk regret his decision to challenge him, but the fans felt otherwise, reminding him of the humiliation he suffered at the hands of Jey Uso at WrestleMania 41.

The multi-million-dollar WWE has been premised on solid storytelling over the years. In ‘WWE: Unreal’ Trailer, Cm Punk Is Still Talking About the Time He Sh** Himself in the Ring
Image
Phil “Cm Punk” Brooks kind of shit the bed in his brief mixed-martial arts stint (0-1-1) between WWE residencies. He’s also infamously (on wrestling blogs, at least) shit the ring during a live TV match.

In the trailer for Netflix’s new and upcoming reality show WWE: Unreal (below), Punk asks fellow WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair if she’s “ever shit” herself in the ring. The answer is a no, but with the quick caveat that if she had, she wouldn’t admit to it. The daughter of the legendary “Nature Boy” Ric Flair “may have peed” herself “a little,” she offered.

Look, you just have to know pro wrestlers.

In addition to those two, WWE: Unreal will feature Triple H, Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, Chelsea Green and Xavier Woods. The series has a five-episode season order, with each episode clocking in at 50-minutes long.

WWE Raw Preview July 14: Cm Punk, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Bron Breakker, and Penta
