Swoon, Scream and Laugh @ Romance Zombie Comedy Movies

urbanemovies
The second weekend in October each year with the convergence of World Zombie Day on October 13th, combined with Zombie Walks and Zombie Pub Crawls being hosted throughout the globe in cities big and small during the second weekend in October make the weekend a busy one for the zombie-obsessed.

In 2024, we mark the 20-year anniversary of the world's first self-dubbed RomZomCom movie and the establishment of a new sub-subgenre with the premiere of 'Shaun of the Dead' (2004) that year. While other movies may have preceded this film by combining all three of these elements, it was the first to be marketed as a "RomZomCom". Also, it is arguably the most successful and most critically acclaimed film in the RomZomCom sub-subgenre to date. It led to the term, RomZomCom, being coined in the first place and the film's popularity made RomZomCom part of the permanent lexicon of pop culture and film lovers alike.

Which of these selected RomZomCom movies that mixes romance, zombies and comedy has the best combination of swoons, screams and laughs?
