A young Japanese man finds himself in a strange game to recover from his debts.

A sixth-grader Hikaru Shindo accidentally awakens the spirit of a deceased Go prodigy Fujiwara no Sai who then accompanies Hikaru and helps him develop his Go skills.

Toua Tokuchi is a prodigy when it comes to both baseball and gambling. Pitching nothing but mediocre fastballs, he has made a name for himself by attaining 499 consecutive victories in the game of One Outs: a one-on-one showdown between a pitcher and a batter. Despite his remarkable abilities, however, Tokuchi sees the sport as nothing more than a way to make some quick money.

After death, humans go to either heaven or hell. But for some, at the instant of their death, they arrive at the Quindecim, a bar attended by the mysterious white-haired Decim.

Taking place in the year 1937 on the eve of World War II, the story involves a mysterious spy training organization known as the "D Agency." The organization is established by Lieutenant Colonel Yuuki from the Imperial Japanese Army. His ideals lead him to recruit people beyond military academy graduates and personnel, while training them to become skilled agents in arts of manipulation. These agents would become a specialized team to conduct operations. One such antihero agent, under the name Jirou Gamou, goes on a harrowing mission to uncover secret documents titled "Black Notes," while battling forces from within and without his own ranks.

A tenth-former wore out an old acquaintance by name Saki Miyanaga in the school club of mahjong only because that knew rules, and for a game the fourth was not enough. Certainly, Saki nothing such did not show and, winning back three circles, moved away modestly. But only president of club Hisa Takei noticed that a guest all three meeting had made off "in a zero" - that a chance in any way can not be.

I'm too much of a bookworm. I find the act of gambling to be reckless and therefore wouldn't waste any time watching anime that revolves around the foolhardy subject.

Unless you happen to give me a book that may or may not touches upon the risky theme.
