Just how elusive is an Academy Award? Below is a list of some of our most accomplished living actors. Not one has even received a nomination for an Oscar in acting. As of 2025, the following have never been nominated despite being reliably excellent in a significant body of work or having at least two performances that were widely considered to be big oversights on the part of the Academy.
