Mike Benitez(I)

Born in Cuba, Mike arrived to the US at the age of 5. He grew up in Miami, FL where he found his calling as an actor at the age of 11. He took his first steps as a professional actor in the Spanish Theatres of Miami and then headed to Florida State University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre with a concentration on acting. He later studied as an apprentice at the acclaimed Coconut Grove Playhouse. Mike's been working consistently as an actor after that. He started out doing plays and over a 150 commercials which led to movies and TV shows. As of right now he's been in over 50 TV shows and movies. In the pursuit of acting roles Mike lived in NYC for many years where he worked on several films like Serendipity and other indie films. He worked on Law & Order twice and Law & Order Special Victims Unit and several other TV shows and plays. He appeared several times on the Late Night with Conan O'Brian show in different sketches at NBC's Rockefeller Center. Mike is now based out of Miami, FL and he keeps working on plays, TV, films and commercials all over the US and well as internationally. He has worked as a professional actor on Stage, TV and Film in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Georgia, North & South Carolina, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico to name a few. He loves traveling for work.
