Miguel Vega(XII)

Miguel Vega is a Mexican-American writer and director based in San Diego, CA. Born in Michoacán, Mexico, and raised on California's Central Coast, his films delve into the complexities of the Mexican-American experience, often exploring themes of shifting identities and intergenerational trauma. Through a blend of dark comedy and horror, Miguel seeks to bridge cultural perspectives with universal themes. He holds an MFA in Film and TV Production from San Diego State University. His award-winning thesis film, "Los Malcriados," is currently on its festival circuit and will premiere at the Georgia Latino International Film Festival (GALIFF).
