Aeden O'Connor-Agurcia is a Honduran-American writer-director whose work explores the collision between identity, violence, and belonging in multicultural worlds. His storytelling is grounded in the realities of systemic conflict and moral ambiguity, often told through dark, emotionally charged thrillers and dramas.
His debut feature 90 Minutes, is "A portrait of contemporary Honduras through the lens of its societal obsession with soccer" - Scott Feinberg, The Hollywood Reporter. The film won the Audience Award at the 37th Miami International Film Festival and was acquired by Outsider Pictures for global distribution.
His second feature, Sun Falls, is an immigration drama and crime thriller set against the backdrop of the 2018 Honduran protests and migrant caravans. A co-production between Honduras, Mexico, and Guatemala, the film continues his exploration of migration, displacement, and fractured national identity.
Aeden was part of the 2023 Sony Writers Program and is developing multiple projects, including Homo Deus, a sci-fi horror feature expansion of his 2025 short film of the same name.
He is represented by The Framework Collective.
