Sammy Oriti

Sammy Oriti is an American Television Producer and Music Composer. Raised around entertainment his parents ran the photography concessions in major showrooms in Philadelphia and New Jersey growing up around legends like Diana Ross and the Supremes, Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and the many jazz greats who would perform at The Manor Hotel (1960s Wildwood New Jersey) The Latin Casino (1960s Cherry Hill New Jersey) Brandi's Wharf (Philadelphia Pa 1970s) Just Jazz (Philadelphia Pa 1972-1976). Oriti was submerged in the world of music from an early age forming his first garage band at 14 years old. That lead to the late 70s and 80s performing in night clubs throughout the Jersey Philly area. From Led Zeppelin to Yes and Genesis, Oriti founded various rock bands and covered top 40 until Born in the USA from Bruce Springsteen landed him a great gig. Sammy Atlantic and The Jersey All Stars - A tribute to Bruce Springsteen toured the East Coast from 1985-1987. Oriti with bandana and guitar fronted a 7 piece touring show performing 30 songs per concert from Early Bruce to Tunnel of Love. Leaving the East Coast for Los Angeles he formed a new version of the show and did a few months on the West Coast being interviewed in the LA Times Calendar Sept 1987. Moving into the entertainment industry was the next step and today Oriti is an Award Winning writer producer with several projects in various stages of development. Oriti is the Co Creator of Warner Bros hit animated series "Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island" which was nominated for two Emmy Awards 2005-2006. Oriti founded myouterspace.com, a partnership with William Shatner which launched March 5th 2010 receiving 11 million hits in 6 days. Myouterspace was world news overnight as the company ran contests with industry leaders for creative's worldwide to show their abilities. The Animate Shatner contest was hosted by Toon Boom Software and the Music Theme Song Contest was hosted by Michael Giacchino Academy Award Winning Composer. Series and animated features were born from Myouterspace. After many years of creating content in TV, Music, and Film, Sammy's career has credited him with Film Festival Grand Prize awards as well as the credited creator of a 2006 twice Emmy Nominated Warner Bros Animated Series. With a current Broadway style musical based on the Bible in production, Sammy carries out the message of Help Worldwide through entertainment. With a strong passion to make a difference on planet Earth, he gathers top industry talent and producers to make inspiring content. As creative director for the company, he shepherds each project from concept to completion maintaining the Help Worldwide moral values along with industry standard quality of production.Oriti is producing Godspeed A Rock Opera for stage and screen, a joint venture with Help Worldwide, a cause driven commerce group. Richard Stewart CEO of Help Worldwide formed 70x7 Films with Oriti to produce faith based entertainment, Godspeed scheduled for October 2015 performances in Los Angeles.
