Matt Gardner is a public affairs executive and start-up advisor in the
San Francisco Bay Area. His creative efforts are behind an Emmy-winning
campaign, "Behind the Science of Life," communicating the impact of
biotechnology on everyday life. He has contributed as an author to peer
reviewed journals in biotechnology, manufacturing and innovation. Mr.
Gardner's career in Silicon Valley has included the privilege of
serving two members of Congress on life science advisory bodies, and
three major research universities including Johns Hopkins, University
of Maryland and the University of California at Davis, as an external
advisor on start-ups and innovation. His contributions to the
screenplay for Redirecting Eddie (2008) were his first foray into
feature films.
