James Glover was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in Speech Communication before making his way to Los Angeles. James is a television and film producer who has worked in New York City, Houston and Los Angeles on highly-rated National and International programs. He is a 7-time Emmy nominee, and in 2025, won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program for his work on "Hot Bench."
James is a Co-Executive Producer for CBS on the #1 original court show in Daytime Television, "Hot Bench" which was created by Judge Judy Sheindlin (Judge Judy). Previously, he was the Co-Executive Producer of "Judge Faith" from 2014-2016. Prior to that, he was the Supervising Producer of "Judge Alex" from 2011-2013 and a Producer there from 2006-2011. Glover also worked as a Producer on talk shows, "The Talk" and "Anderson," and the hit Primetime FOX game show, "The Moment of Truth." Additionally, he has had production credits on "Dr. Phil," "The Tyra Banks Show," and "Divorce Court."
He is the CEO of JamesVG3 Inc., a Television, Film & Digital Media company.
James is a member of the Academy of Television where he also serves as a judge for the Daytime and Primetime Emmys.
He was a Big Brother to actor Ryan Potter (Supah Ninjas, Big Hero 6, Titans, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous) through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles. James serves as President of the Mulligan Project, a non-profit that works to improve the lives of disabled children in Vietnam. James became a member of the University of Tennessee Communication Studies Alumni Advisory Council in 2017.
