Mandy Lee was born and bred on the wild east coast of Scotland, UK, and is a screenwriter and writer. Known for films, Hula (BAFTA New Talent), Slingshot, The Grab and Love Cake. Her TV work includes the writers room for children's series, Ooglies. Feature projects include romantic comedy Masterbaker (BAFTA Rocliffe Forum), Red Lodge (a Scottish horror), and drama, The Pace of Nature set in the NE of England. She loves haar, the word 'dreich', Powell and Pressburger films especially Black Narcissus, and whistling.
