M.I. Vasanthkumar is a film producer, screenwriter and an actor who has worked in Tamil as well as Malayalam language films. His debut production 'Manal Naharam', completely shot at Dubai has been directed by Oru Thalai Raagam Shankar, was critically acclaimed. The film also had a Malayalam version titled as 'Sand City' and Interestingly the Malayalam version had the first theatre outing. M.I. Vasanthkumar, is also a businessman and his production company name is DJM Associates.
