Growing up with Rita Powers as a shining example of hard work and dedication, Luis was constantly surrounded by talented, dynamic individuals. After years working for others in the marketing and advertising world, Luis took a leap and followed his dream to advocate on behalf of other multi-talented, charismatic, unforgettable people.
Luis Lizarazo founded Variado Talent in July 2020 following the outbreak of Covid-19 with the goal of advocating for the world's best talent. After successfully growing the new business base at Whalar, Luis realized that he was born to work directly on behalf of talented individuals. During his 7 years at Expedia Group Luis had the chance to grow business and improve relationships with regional hotel chains including PUBLIC led by Ian Schrager, Dream, Standard, Ace, and Arlo Hotels as well as multiple global brands including MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment and Marriott International.
In 2012, Luis completed a full-time MBA program at the American University Kogod School of Business, where he focused on marketing + strategy. Prior to business school, Luis worked for several years in the non-profit sector, primarily focused on improving early child intervention in the Russian Federation. In his downtime, Luis enjoys spending time with his family, playing pick-up soccer, attending NYCFC matches at Yankee Stadium, a deep love of music (old- disco, funk, jazz and new- Sam Smith, Lizzo, Cher- you name it) and learning new things. A proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Luis is looking to partner with talented individuals from all walks of life.
Finally, Luis is working to perfect his alter ego's appearance and manners, Sancerre E'Clair, at all times. Thank you for your understanding.
