Blood Blockade Battlefront

Granted I am going off memory because I watched this around 2 months ago, but it was very good. I haven't heard this talked about which is confusing, but I will say season 2 wasn't as good as 1. Still good and even though I have yet to watch it the vibe is Cowboy bebop somewhat and a has both goofy and serious themes. Not my number 1 recommendation but if someone needs a new anime to watch or asked if i liked it, I would tell them to watch it. I have no real way to explain why I was losing interest, but my attention span wasn't fully invested in the show, and think it may be missing something to be a 9 or 10. Regardless I enjoyed it and am giving it a happy 8/10.

I remember so precisely the moment I watched this anime, suddenly I was embarking on a journey of being "woke", not SJW but like total hyper consciousness unlocked. I had been consuming extremely mediocre media before that, and this show enlightened me, that true high art hits different. For a teenager, that's like listening to Linkin Park and thinking it's edgy and hardcore or whatever, except the fact that this series is nothing like that. Writing in my mid 20s, it's more like Sweet Trip's debut, it's stylish, unique, unapologetic and so lively animated you couldn't help but feel like these meticulously painted backgrounds are of some franchise much larger and lore heavy than its actual silly and episodic nature. Immense respect for the director of the first season, without her, we could have very much had a perfectly competent but utterly passable adaptation, with her vision so ambitious you couldn't help but feel small and meaningless after watching the show. Oh the music, it was...a trip. It drippin RICH and refuses to be referenced with other contemporaries.

And why yes, Klaus was my gay awakening, and after 9 years after I first saw him, he's still a force to be reckoned with. He's so husband material I might end up giving up my real dating life.

The Alt-Earth New York City and it's citizens are fascinating due in large part to their diversity to say nothing of the Laissez faire attitude they share, unfazed by the majority of the insanity going on around them.

"BBB" has engaging characters, a fantastic world and a pretty interesting story, would love to see a 3rd season as it's one of my favorites, and remains so even on the 2nd watch.

Pros:

• Colorful characters with some depth.
• Unique world.
• Higher level of art and imagery than average.
• Quality and consistent animation.
• Engaging story.
• Power comes with a price.
• Good range of emotions, from humor to heartache.
• Above average English dubbing.
• Story arcs have resolution.
• Success is is often bittersweet.
• Every episode feeds into the main Arc in one way or another (1st Season).
• Great soundtrack.

Cons:

• Some of the alternative animations to show emotion etc can be a bit cheesy.
• OVA's a huge pain to find, and don't have dubbed versions at the moment.
• Like many anime's the 2nd season is weaker.

To my eyes I never saw the sign when you're something that I just wish I were, it was fascinating in its own way nevertheless the surname I actually took my time seeing a story line is kind of intriguing when you're a stranger in a foreign City get here, trying to make a living off something that you didn't even think existed now that your job if I to protect the world from this chaos, with this newfound power he became something else that's all Tilly I don't even know why this is Caroline always enjoy the side of my ex and I was hoping whatever is waiting my coming right now if I give you my opinion right now should actually taken at this she will not be disappointed.

The World and Characters are vibrant and fun with a full blast of supernatural awesomeness.
