Chiyari musô

A cowardly samurai/noodle vendor get an important part to play in a vendetta attack. To top that there is also added a grumpy spear man and two pretty ladies.

This is an unusual vendetta movie closer to humor than a fighting movie even though there is a bit of fighting in the movie. To be honest the main character sees his limitations and expect to be a distraction that will die so his brother can kill the person who killed him.

I thought it was a nice refreshing take on the whole vendetta business as we have seen done so many times before and after. I enjoyed it a lot but I would say if you only see it for the martial arts then you can find many better suited movies. Otherwise I would say it is good entertainment for people into Japanese movies.
