During the side mission Curse of Wadjet, Bayek says to himself "Snakes again, why did it have to be snakes?" which is a direct in-joke reference to Indiana Jones' famous lines from the movie.

During a flashback in the side mission Apis Stone Circle, Bayek's son Khemu asks him, "What is best in life?" Khemu states that, "My friend Kenon says that it was to crush your enemies and to hear the lamentations of their women." Bayek responds with, "We are Medjay son. Not barbarians" This is an homage to the film Conan The Barbarian where Conan is asked by his master, "What is best in life?" He responds with, "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women."

In the game Assassin's Creed Origins, the town crier of Letopolis, Ramessu, welcomes visitors to the city referring to it as, "The chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity and adventure." This is an homage to the blimp broadcasted off-world colonies advertisement in the movie Blade Runner which states, "A new life awaits you in the off-world colonies! A chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity and adventure."
