Set against the backdrop of the Argentinean countryside this documentary follows the stories of the local indigenous people and their persecution suffered over generations at the hands of white authorities.

This documentary is about the fight for survival. The fight for their people, culture and the land they have inhabited for centuries known as Monte in the area. Deforestation and farming has caused the land to become arid and this is having devastating effects on the indigenous people.

As indigenous activists fight the government to leave the Monte alone they are met with much backlash. The documentary also delves deeper into the genocide of the indigenous people over the years, with first person recollections of authorities committing terrible crimes against humanity without any repercussions for their actions.

At times it's not an easy documentary to watch in terms of subject matter but it's an important one.
