We Summoned a Demon

Sometimes, playing with the devil goes sideways. This horror comedy short-with strong 80s vibes-tells the story of one such case. In an attempt to become cool through rituals involving spells and blood sacrifice, two guys accidentally summon a demon with dire consequences.

The story is quite funny, and the actors play their roles well. The comedic elements are just what you'd expect from a horror comedy, and aside from the look of the demon, the visuals are solid. But seriously-why cast the skinniest guy to play the demon?

All in all, this short film delivers a lot of fun in just five minutes.

No pun intended - not sure if I would call summoning a demon cool ... unless ... well the situation demands it - and you'll understand (or already do), if and when you watch the short movie. We are talking about a crazy story idea ... and two characters who do their best to ... well do almost everything wrong they can.

Waving at the wrong moment - and generally being quite silly ... but that is what I loved (charm wise too by the way) ... you have to love low budget movies ... in this case short movie. Acting is good and the make up effects really do work very good. Also remember this is way more funny than scary ... but does have some vivid brutal imagery ... just in case that is of importance to you.

A short horror remembering old teenager comedies. Two guys. A demon. A "criminal" proposition . And the nice end. Not great but nice. For the helix- shaped horns.
