The Pleasure Professionals

One of the more talented pornographers on the JoyBear payroll, Justine Mii (might be a guy despite the nom de porn) concocted this look at a married couple who provide hands-on advisory help to sexually mixed up clients. It's fun and arousing, but rather misleading.

That's because there's an emphasis on BDSM without actually delivering. The usual JoyBear voice-over narration leads us to expect that both Mr. ERC (initials stand for the euphemistic title "Executive Relief Consultant") and Mrs. ERC will dip into their bag of tricks and apply some good old English caning, flogging, etc. to the customer. But other than an occasional show of paraphernalia or brief love pat, this doesn't eventuate.

Instead we get straight sex in the Couples Romance format that JoyBear has always made its own. Five vignettes depict various assignments taken on by bowler-hat wearing Seth Strong or his bowler-hat wearing better half Tiffany Doll.

Individually titled segments (all the better for streaming, though I'm still in DVD mode exclusively) are: "Taking Charge", with Peter Oh Tool encouraged to become the dominant and servicing sub neighbor Cathy Heaven in what was my favorite vignette thanks to CH's inimitable deep- throat talent.

Tiffany takes charge herself in "The Mistress & the Barrister", wearing a mannish outfit and putting shackles on lawyer lady Sam Bentley's legs before giving her what for with a riding crop and old-fashioned Sapphic sex.

Demetri XXX has his way with lovely Hannah Shaw and Avril in a strong threesome titled "Well Tipped". In the DVD's brief BTS segment, Avril is given the superimposed stage name of "Silva Sun" but I couldn't track down the actual use of these pseudonyms by the same performer.

"The Timid Bookworm" concerns shy bookstore owner Paige Turner hiring Peter Oh Tool to visit her shop and hump her silly, though Paige played the dominant in this scene. I sensed a rewrite or jerry-rigging to the feature at this point, since logically it would have been Seth Strong as Mr. ERC who she would have hired, rather than one of his customers (Peter) to do the job.

Finale titled "Surprise Anniversary" predictably has the two married ERC principals celebrating their Wood (5th) anni by donning their bowler hats and having at it, bondage style with blindfold for Seth.

Highlight of the show comes during the BTS, as Cathy Heaven quips "It's a long time since I've had sex in a bed", reflecting on the difference between working for a Couples company like JoyBear (or Sweet Sinner in the States) versus porn stars' customary gonzo assignments.
