Uma Jornada de Perdão

This was by far the dumbest movie i have ever seen in my life. I was forwarding the movie as it was only guitar playing and car moving every 3 minutes. It is 21st century, clear your brains and you know what mean, read more than one book, ok?

I'm thankful this movie was made, even without a $50M budget.

This movie is about a faithful man's commitment to and belief in God's patience and power to answer His prayers for both of his sons. It's definitely worth your time to watch. I was encouraged by this movie.

The idea behind the movie is great and good to see the transformation of one of the brothers. The acting is really basic and low level. The movie is mostly driving and showing scenery with guitar music as background. I had to forward quit a bit. I think this movie has dialogues for about 15 minutes. If it wasn't for the good message I had switched.

An interesting story: a challenge for two brothers who are estranged. Some fifty years their parents went on honeymoon to California , there somebody stole the the briefcase of the father ,but the father and the mother came back to Kentucky with the help of a lot of Good Samaritans. Now Allen , the musician who went to Ne York and his brother who stayed near his ñparents in Kentucky, have to meet all the persons who helped their parents, to tell them the gratitude.

A good story with the good performances of Nathan Todaro, Jeff Prater, John Lina, Meredith Frankie Crutcher and Lou Pizarro.

The idea behind the movie is sound- Made me think of Bottle Rocket but with The Word as the basis and goal of the movie - however the script coulda used several more rewrites.

Many of the scenes don't flow. There's no sense or cohesion from one scene to another, and even the redemption arch of one of the characters lack the depth to actually have any effect on the audience.

The soundtrack is great however there's too much of it - too much driving passed blend scenery and too much background music.

I think there's a terrific premise for a movie in there, but the filmmakers weren't willing to go through the development process to get the idea to fruition.

Maybe someone some day can remake it like what they did with a oceans 11, which was an atrocious original but a fantastic remake.
