A middle aged woman is an accountant and becomes addicted to gambling. She steals over 800 000 Euros from her customers and loses everything to the local gambling company on the small island where she lives.

She tries to commit suicide but ends up in jail, her customers feel betrayed and the local government and the gambling company is accused of money laundry and refuses to pay back the money.

This story tears up a wound in the small society of Åland and also gives and insight into how the dirty gambling industry works.
