Steve Carell and Martin Short two brilliant comedians in a very serious scene
I have watched the scene repeatedly and tirelessly and cannot get enough of it. Shows their versatility as actors that go above and beyond simply making people laugh. Brilliant, just brilliant👏👏🙌🏻🙌🏻

To this other weird guy who had one eye closed watching the show...
Don't you realize that this show is actually for the first time trying to show both sides? It's absolutely not #metoo propaganda.
It raises the very valid concern of: Do some women use this movement to cut other peoples careers?
I am sure we will see more in this direction as Mitch tries to clear his name.
You really gotta have both eyes closed to not see that.

Excellent so far. A few nitpick but ultimately a strong show with multiple voices.
I'm surprised by how nuanced this is. The scene between Steve Carell and Martin Short was outstanding...that slow realisation for Mitch about who was sat opposite him. The scene is shaded brilliantly by Mitch's shame...like the penny is dropping with him right there (at least I hope so).
I thought the whole episode was excellent, though the 'take control' boardroom scene was slightly over embellished for me. I liked the essence of the scene, but I'm pretty sure Alex would have been outright fired in that moment for humiliating the CEO in front of all of his underlings.
Can't wait to see Alex and Bradley co-host.

TV about real life
The writers knocked it out of the park with this one! Alex's speech to the executives was everything many of us ladies have wanted to say many times! Steve Carrols character does a fantastic job of showing the nuance that is what real life is about.

- CuriosidadesThe button under Mitch's old desk, which closes and locks the door to his dressing room, is a reference to former NBC journalist Matt Lauer, who had such a button under his desk. Lauer's career ended amid allegations of sexual misconduct in 2017.
