"Rebobinado" is a movie that I liked a lot. Above all, because the production effort they made seems very valuable to me. In turn, it seems to me a very transparent material, more for itself it knows the director as is my case. Then, within the technical things there are very good things and others that do not reach the height. Among the most notable are the mounting resources, which are very good. And as for the photo, very beautiful by the way, it should be noted that situations were resolved in small spaces with good plans. The script works, although a detail that lowers the level is how long it takes to set the set up. Although it is very clear, but perhaps in relation to the pace of assembly the film accelerates from the middle and that is very close to this moment. But it is a detail, that if you are traveling with the movie you do not get away from the material. On the other hand you can see the imprint video clip of the director towards the end of the film, where there are 3 or 4 sequences that are pure video clip and are very good. The sound is impeccable, everything is understood, that is an achievement for an independent production, it seems that they got a very good direct, and also thinking about the soundtrack the original music adds up a lot.
As for the performances, what can be said is that they seemed a bit uneven. You can tell a lot about Carrasco's difference with the rest, an exquisite actor. The characters of Charly and Pako also do it very well as the friend of the protagonist. It is noted that this intention appears from the direction because the secondary characters add a lot to the story the appearances of the boss of Alejandro, his father, the adult bear and the Sensei are great moments of the film. The protagonist, Matías Dinardo, rounds out a good performance with highs and lows.
In general, it is a project in which most elements are on equal terms, there are no dissonant and distracting elements, and the most wonderful thing is to be able to find the author in the material, and that is unquestionable. A great debut for Juan Francisco Otaño, along with a huge team that made it possible. Congratulations.
