O Fogo da Paixão

... should there be never any scenes in this Latin-soap where you find yourself chucking-laughing, but yet there are... just so laughable it's-dumb-funny at times... sure there's plenty of infidelity, very-light-nudity, and minor-violence... with most all the cast doing what they're supposed to be doing in this typical-genre-production.. none really standout to a point worth mentioning-highlighting

... Netflix brings on quite a few of these kinds of shows, so ya gotta believe they are worth it for them.. assuming they know what their-doing... have no problem with it, fast-forwarding on the platform works well enough, getting through ten episodes in plus/minus couple-hours.

Don't be fooled yes it's a soap opera with the lead as some sort of smoldering hunk who turns the ladies head .. it also is a show about this modern day feudal system they were each stuck in Columbia. Starting with the heads of the coffee bean plantation owners and their rich wives who were stuck and frustrated and have no way out no more than the poor servants who work for these rich owners. The henchmen have no choice but to do dirty work for the owner. The lead is stuck even though he fantasizes for another life. This story could have been set in medieval times.

The series is nice but I didn't get the beginning and ending.. it is not related. I don't know. I got confused

This series has a very basic plot, the acting is poor so the production, the ending simply horrible, the characters don't deliver that special feeling you will expect in this kind of series, very predictable in general, a drama-want-to-be, it has a lot of refills, it could have been made just in 1 or 2 episodes, it is almost like watching a loooong looong trailer, in fact, I recommend you to read only the synopsis and imagine the rest, you might do even a better job than this series!

Heck of an attractive guy! Maybe that's why I kept watching lol It is a cliché that's been done many times and way better. The plot holes make it so boring, and piss you off because they can change the whole scenario. Beautiful scenery, and not bad as a performance for many of the actors (many sucked big time). If you need to waste time during confinement or for any other reason, you might watch it on FWD
