This hilarious and charming whodunit begins with a voice-in-off introduces us to Paris in one of the first sequences of this black comedy directed by José María Forqué and funny script from Vicente Coello, Antonio Vich and Forque himself . In Paris two friends , Simón Adelbert (Alberto Closas) and Enrique Picart (José Luis López Vázquez), plan a weekend of partying without their wives , Margarita (Amparo Soler Leal) and Brigitte (Julia Gutiérrez Caba), and to spend a night out with other women, with two ladies of easy virtue, sending their women to the mountain chalet. But everything is complicated when a corpse after another began to appear in the living room of the house and also the wives forget the keys of the house and they have to come back to pick it up.
Enjoyable situation comedy based on the well-known play by Alfonso Paso, here Forqué who had tackled the intriguing comedy in the unforgettable ¨Atraco a las Tres ¨ brought together the leading couple of ¨La gran familia¨, but cannot hide its marked scenic origins and that benefits from a brilliant and concise dialogue , almost always based on the misunderstanding , the twisted confusion and the play on words. An amusing and sympathetic comedy in which starring likable Alberto Closas and José Luis López Vázquez attempt to take advantage of the absence of their wives, but things get complicated when a blackmailer dies and both of whom have to make the body disappear and things go wrong when another corpse shows up , amplifying the interest of the story. Although it has some moments of merit and agreeable incidents , it is a film that entangles its actions , twisted set pieces and purposes too much. The idea , starting from the stagy roots of Alfonso Paso, is to create an accidental limit situation outside the daily life of the ordinary citizens and entangle them as much as possible in infidelities , unexpected criminal involvements , ambiguity in motivations and a number of suspicions of the crime authorship . Despite the fact that many things happen in the plot , as there're various attractive characters , twists , turns and several comings and goings, the final result , despite the efforts of its interpreters, turns out be a little bit tiresome and confusing, with a lot of variants and secondary ones that get in the way even more troublesome . The four starring : Alberto Closas , José Luis López Vázquez, Julia Gutiérrez Caba, Amparo Soler Leal are pretty good and accompanied by a familar support cast , such as : Pedro Porcel , José Orjas , Hugo Pimentel , Elena María Tejeiro , Jesús Puente and Jesús Guzmán .
