Excellent!

This is a true great movie, with capital M, an exceptional achievement in all respects, script, direction, cinematography, music, etc., but especially due to the interpretation of Alberto Sordi and Claudia Cardinale, both in two of their best roles. Luigi Zampa did a extraordinary job, as in other movies such as: The Flower in his Mouth (1975) Gente di rispetto (original title), Secrets of a Nurse (1973) Bisturi, la mafia bianca (original title), A Question of Honor (1966) Una questione d'onore (original title), etc.
