Manhattan Mistress

I saw this movie under it's original title horny temptress. Like it because I feel that it falls under the title of classic for this type of movie in that it has a plot of sorts which is not typical for this particualar genere of movie making.

The story is good because it not to far removed from something that could actually happen in a real life situation. Sort of gives the idea as to how vunarable the humen spirit is when faced with a givin situation of this type, the idea that we are humens with emoition that at times can drive us to certain extremes and the impact that they can have on the people around us. Juliet Anderson I feel is a not particulary good actress but fits the part well a nod must be given to one of my favorite actress from this era Erica Boyer again not a particuliary good actress but fits the part well.

Overall I would have to say that the movie was good for its time, especsally for this genere movie making that at times are long on the action and short on plot.

I found that I was often listening to the background music.

Pathetically so I actually was not disappointed with the ending. I thought it had a sort emotional flair to it for being an early skin flick

...i'm the type where your entrance is captured by the 'audience' as well as an ending that leaves 'em desperate but satisfied of what they had just seen..

This movie is no academy winner.. but should please a film lovers' horny appetite. Never once did I fast forward.. rewind yes, but fast forward no.

This movie boasts typically sparkling and uninhibited portrayals from two of the greatest stars of sex cinema, Juliet Anderson and Erica Boyer, both of whom sadly passed away far too young within a fortnight of each other around the turn of this year.

Juliet's characters could usually be seen in rather more luxurious surroundings than the Southern town greasy spoon diner where she works as a waitress and has a raunchy romp amid the dirty dishes with boss Dave Ruby, in which both show their flair for combining sex with comedy. Daughter Erica catches her in the act, transforming herself from town tease into emulating her mother, before being given a ride both to - and in - New York City by R Bolla who starts her off in the sex business.

This has to be a highlight of Erica's early films and she looks sensational in the later stages, having divested herself of a rather superfluous wig. All the cast including veterans Ron Jeremy and Merle Michaels are at their best.

The best "snappy dialog" in the movie is the kitchen scene where Ernie announces "your tits are like sweet potatoes". Boy would I like to meet the person that came up with that line.

I have to admit that Juliet Anderson and Erica Boyer do make the movie. The scene at the bar where Angel fantasizes about the 3-way makes me wish that I was the one in that 3-way.

If you like cheesy dialog then I recommend this movie.

I have always said that the cushiest job in the world is a dialog coach for porn movies.

I mean how hard do you have to work to get the actors to moan and groan. Is there a special way it has to be done?
