Kawalerskie zycie na obczyznie

I watched "Kawalerskie zycie na obczyznie" (Bachelor's life abroad) with curiosity. Perhaps because I spent about 15 years outside Poland and was interested in the experiences of people from several generations ago. So I think that this film is not for everyone, and you need to have some interest in the topic. "Bachelor's Life Abroad" is an adaptation of Jakub Wojciechowski's memoir "A Worker's Own Life." This text, an account of a young Pole's stay in Germany in the 1920s, gained recognition from, among others, Tadeusz Boy-Zelenski, although it shocked many with its moral audacity. For me, the greatest advantage of the film was its authenticity. "Bachelor's Life Abroad" oscillated between social drama and comedy while maintaining a certain distance that we have to our own lives after some years. I also liked the tone of moderate optimism, and overall I think this modest and unassuming movie is a decent job.
