Double Dare 2000

I thought DD2K lasted 2 seasons and I'm sorry it wasn't longer. It was a show that the whole family could watch, play along with and cheer on. The sets were colorful and magical. You can still see it on GAS (Nickelodeon Cable Station), but if you don't have the full monty of cable, you are out of luck. It's too bad Nickelodeon didn't give the viewers more time to work it into their TV watching schedules. I remembering rushing home from work or setting the VCR to tape it and it wouldn't be on that day or would be on at a different time. Eventually I just gave up. I do want to give kudos to the cast. I thought they all had an amazing energy level and Tia...Tia was the cutest! I remember the show when she came out riding on top of a giant birthday cake, wearing a wedding dress that was going to be used in the physical challenge. I still think Nick should bring it back! Good luck to all the cast in their future endeavors.

Double Dare was great during its Double Dare iteration and Super Sloppy one, but it just lost its luster. When they didn't bring back Marc Summers, it was just not any good. Stick to the old shows, they're a lot better. I turned this iteration off after 2 episodes on Nick GAS. It just lacked the magic that the previous iterations of Double Dare had. It's really not worth watching.

Still like my Super Sloppy Double Dare at 4:20 during Pumping GAS. If you want to see Double Dare at its purest, that's the show to watch carefully.

"Double Dare 2000" was the last spin-off in the "Double Dare" saga. It was a great series and brought back many childhood memories. Even though it didn't last for long, while it aired I watched it everyday and enjoyed every minute of it.

"Double Dare 2000" introduced the new host Jason Harris. Harris was a very good new host for the show. "Double Dare 2000" also followed pretty much the same rules as the older "Double Dare" series. The physical challenges were still pretty messy which made it fun to watch. However there were also a few changes. The new triple dare was introduced which could have allowed a physical challenge to be worth up to 300 dollars and the award of a bonus prize. This made the show very exciting!

Overall this was a great series and it's a shame that it didn't last longer. I give this show 10/10 stars.

Well it is now confirmed that Double Dare 2000 is officially been cancelled. The show barely lasted a few months and it had already been pulled. I am unaware to how the show suddenly vanished. The old double dare from the 1980's lasted a good 7 years before it left the airwaves. However no matter what the case it doesn't seem like double dare is coming back. I mean this was like their last chance to bring back double dare, now that it has been pulled i don't think double dare will ever be back. It is a shame too because Nickelodeon needs all the good shows they can get. I used to enjoy all of Nick's former shows. Like Alex Mack, Space Cases, My Brother and Me, and the former Double Dare with Marc Summers. Now with Double Dare gone and these newer Nick shows that are doing meager at best, Nick looks like it could use a good dose of something fresh. As far as Double Dare is concerned, i think the show may have been cancelled due to extremely low ratings, that is my guess. My second guess would be financial problems. My final verdict on the show is, BRING BACK MARC SUMMERS!, he was the best! The most compelling memories came from back then. The show was actually interesting. That also is another problem with the show, used material. It seems like all that the new double dare did was slap a new high tech motto on the stage and if anything they watered down the courses. The host was a complete cornball. However it was manageble. So the rest is up in the air, with Double Dare gone, and rather dull cartoons and shows, Nickelodeon needs to pump the value of their shows up, or they will be licking scum off the bottom of other more popular kid networks.

I've seen almost every show on nick gas and I must say that double dare 2000 is my favorite. I haven't seen the original double dare, but people say it was really good so i'm going to have to watch it sometime. I was pretty young when the show came out, six, and I didn't know about it so i never watched it. But when I was 10 I saw it and I loved. I kept watching more of what nick gas gave me to watch like, get the picture, figure it out, GUTS, etc. and they are all pretty good shows. But I love double dare 2000. I also like it that they have families. Jason is a very good host. Though I wish I would've been older when these shows came out because I would really like to be an audience member. I'm 13 now and I never get bored with these shows:) overall- 10/10
