Quite unfunny, cliché and even embarassing Brazilian attempt to copy The 3 Stooges (even the hairstyles are identical). Close to bankrupcy, TV Tupy had a weekly TV show with these B-stooges from September 1978 to September 1979 (I was born during that year time, and TV Tupi ceased to exist in 1980). Although the slapstick unnoriginal sitcom had a short life, they made this feature movie. In the film, besides the three Pankakes, there are also a mob boss who looks like James Bond's enemies and a living car in the style of Herbie or Christine. One of the three pankake-stooges, Roni Cócegas (in Os Pankekas, que was curly-headed Maionese, always saying that easy things were "on the butter"), remained as an active comedian portraying famous minor characters in popular TV shows until his death: the clown Kuki in Bozo, Lindeza ("calma, cocada!") From A Praça é Nossa, and Galeão Cumbica in Escolinha do Professor Raimundo. However, I liked to have watched this film just for curiousity about Brazilian television, because it is very bad.
