    Sentimental soundtrack

Baby Van Gogh encourages kids about the different variety of colors along with pieces of work by Vincent Van Gogh. The problem I have with the video itself is not by the fact that it is a bad product; it's the soundtrack. There's times with the soundtrack that it can sound both sentimental and gloomy, but other than that it still works with your younger ones. If you don't like the video either, just avoid it and stick to better BE videos.

Really cute, fun, entertaining, and educational video

Wow! This is a really cute, fun, entertaining, and educational video. I said that because I watch this on DVD with my 16-month-old nephew from time to time. If I had to pick, this would be the most colorful one. This is because it's really cute, fun, entertaining, and educational. Still, I think that all the Baby Einstein videos are really cute, fun, entertaining, and educational. Before I wrap this up, I'd like to say that the Baby Einstein company really knows how to reach a toddler's developing mind. Now, in conclusion, if you have children, nieces, or nephews, I strongly recommend this really cute, fun, entertaining, and educational video.

Great visual and auditory video for babies

This retains my 6 month old's attention more than any other video or TV show. The organisation of colours, music, puppets, toys and children is excellent. It begins by introducing Vincent Van Goat(!) who, throughout the show, paints six Van Gogh paintings that focuses on six colours yellow, green, orange, purple, red and blue. Each colour and painting leads to a collection of puppets, toys and pieces of classical music that represents that colour. My son's favourite is purple! At the end of the video, there is a gallery of the paintings featured in this video with Pictures at an Exhibition accompanying it. Overall, this fully engages little babies from 12 weeks old +. Highly recommended.

    Colorful and musical!

My baby's second favorite out of the Baby Einstein videos (Baby Neptune is her first favorite). She definitely enjoys both. She screams with delight with Baby Van Gogh. It's definitely a 9+ months age recommended. She started enjoying it around 9 months of age, and I know she enjoys it because she laughs and watches intently, and if you get in between her and the TV set while Baby Van Gogh is playing, she gets quite frustrated with you. I think she is definitely learning colors with the video. Since she started watching the video, she can now identify colors on the Sesame Street toy. When it says "find the red drum" she actually pushes the red drum. At 10 months old, I think that is pretty good. I think the Baby Einstein video taught her the colors, not the toy.

If you look carefully at the transition from the Deluxe F1 Level 5 Ramp Racer to the purple puppet show in the 2004 version, you can see a little bit of the Level 4 Ramp Racer from its original release.
