Skin Deep: The Battle Over Morgellons

This documentary was very well done! It provides an insight into what it's really like to suffer from Morgellons and is able to shed light and information on an illness that is often ignored by many doctors. The research done for this film is explained clearly and it's a captivating watch.

Very eye opening documentary about a little known disease. It's heartbreaking to see what these patients have had to endure. I hope this serves as a turning point to get these patients proper treatment.

Pi Ware and team look at a horrible illness from all sides. It is a moving film showing the struggle and despair of having a misunderstood illness from a patient perspective and how when Dr.s don't know or believe the patient they are so quick to shrug it off to a mental illness. The research is laid out clearly and the film is interesting the entire time. Definitely a must see!!

Why would a man spend the bit of money he had saved on a project not for profit but to help others...why would a man work a full time job and still pull off the funding production promotion necessary for an "overtime" film project??....why would a man seek a gentle way to try to teach and unite both sides of a very critical controversy...You are a movement....you have a philosophy that must be adopted by all.....you transcend your negative ego with such grace you are the example "You are the perfect Teacher" Thank you for your sacrifice and tenacity in this mission! So many needed someone like you to lend your grace and alleviate so much unnecessary suffering! There is no way to Thank you enough! May you always be blessed and may all you do to teach truth and compassion come back to you infinitely! 🙏🏻

I was able to see an early screening of Skin Deep, I have seen more documentaries than I can count both medical and others- Skin Deep is by far my favorite. It is an excellent mix of heart and science, addressing the age-old issue of assuming a new or unknown illness is psychological and hesitant to look at a physiological cause. Wrapped in a great package of a well picked musical score and beautifully shot, I highly recommend this documentary to everyone.
