Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint

After playing for quite a few hours I was genuinely surprised by my enjoyment of this. I did enjoy Ghost Recon: Wildlands but neglected to give this game a try until recently. The gunplay mechanics feel excellent and the objectives always seem to change while still giving that feeling that your making an impact on the story. Although I found myself enjoying the constant battles in this game it certainly isn't perfect. The movement can feel clunky at times, especially when mounting against walls and sprinting around obstacles. Another issue was crashing problems, which leads you to redoing parts of the story line. The open world does feel a bit bland at times but the Poi's kept it interesting at times. The only other downside I have found is driving mechanics which felt loose and uncontrollable at times. Negatives aside the progression on this game feels very direct and enjoyable with new gear and weapons being unlocked constantly. I wish I had given this game a try earlier because it is still very enjoyable and definitely worth a try if you enjoy some strategic gameplay and tactical gunplay.

I personally feel that some details in the game were very underwhelming compared to previous installments. And the setting of a small island where you and a small rebellion have to liberate the island is a great concept and very enjoyable to the average player. But i feel the concept has been overused in recent years. Like just cause 3 & 4 as well as Far cry 3 & 4 which are large title games that all come from a similar setting and i feel over time the setting of a small island has gotten overused. And some mechanics like Talking to ncp's Felt like talking to a robot even when talking to a main characters in the story.

...like playing this game without crashing. You're on an island thrown into the wilderness. You can play coop or single player or player vs. player. Here is the thing: 30% of the island is covered in snow. When you see snow, the game crashes. Afterwards you report to Ubisoft. They explain:"We know about this issue and we will fix it very soon." So this means they know about this issue and they won't fix it very soon. In the meantime you could buy all their DLCs though. It's not just the crashes. You have a level system that is limited to 30 levels. You get shiny gear every second and you're somewhat forced to upgrade all your gear frequently. That means that you might get a bandana level 50 in gear equipment terms but later on you get the same bandana as level 150 in gear equipment. Makes sense right? Not to mention that the gear level stops somewhat around 250. When a NPC dies, it doesn't close it's eyes. Trashy dialogue, a lot of basic scripts you see repeating over and over again. I got this game for free, because I bought a new PC. If you bought this with conscent you either don't know what good games are or you enjoy to inflict pain upon yourself or you just wanna throw some more money at Ubisoft. It's titles like these that made it possible for Assassin's Creed to continue today. Even though the idea is dry and every version glitches more and more. I look at titles like these and think: You guys made piracy popular. Stop putting out trash games, then the consumer will buy the product in all honesty. In this kind of state, you just know that there are crackers out there that fix the issues of the game.

I LOVE THE MULTIPLAYER AND THE MAP TOO, BUT WHEN U PLAY SOLO IT GETS BORING!

There have been games that have had some not so desirable aspects that have warranted bad reviews where I've been able to overlook the flaws and enjoy my experience regardless of the flaws. And then there's breakpoint. Is it flawless? No. Did you pick up an Ubisoft open world game expecting flawless? If you answered yes then you're probably severely inexperienced. Yes it has some technical bugs as literally *every single* open world Ubisoft game has, but I couldn't seem to find the issue with the content itself. The story was said to be lackluster and boring and I actually thought it intriguing and well paced, the acting was great, the combat was amazing. That's my biggest point of enjoyment is the combat, while occasionally repetitive (it's a shooter lol that's what happens) it has nice variety and smooth gunplay and a beautiful open world to explore. Overall ratings:
