Before I Got My Eye Put Out

What a great start to 2021! Dickinson Season 2 begins shortly after end of season 1 & it's Looking even bigger and better than first season.

All cast members deserves praise.... Hailee, Ella, Anna, Jane, Toby, Adrian, Darlene, Chinaza are really great. Finn & Pico are nice addition to the cast.

Story is going good. it's a nice & charming homage to the Forgotten Emily Dickinson.

Series also cleverly indicated the problems of 19th century including slavery, racism & women empowerment/independency.

Show is amazing & catchy with its humor, chemistry b/w characters & The Soundtrack.

Overall after watching first 3 episodes, I'm quite confident it's going to be award contender & it should, because it truly deserves to be recognized.

The first 3 episodes put into highlight the question that "What should be the meaning of Life?" & I put into 1 sentence what the show is asking its audience, in my title.

Hats off to all the people that are part of this wonderful show.

Dickinson Season 2 opens with Emily, now accepted as a poet. However, all is not well, as Emily is also struggling with her vision. A doctor even tells her that it is only going to get worse from here. However, Emily seems more concerned with her writing and than her eyes sight. She also is still having visions similar to season 1.

Of course, the real story here is Emily's relationship with Sue. Sue has now transformed from the poor girl of season 1 to a rich and elegant lady since marrying Austin. However, Sue's relationship with Emily is strained because of the marriage. Emily Still writes Sue's poems, which I think are love poems, but they struggle to talk in person. It is a short episode but A great start. Hailee is simply amazing as Emily. You can just see her passion as she acts. Her chemistry with Ella Hunt is also fantastic, and I can't wait to see what is next.
