I think the lack of a laugh track has thrown off some folks who've given this a low rating. It's funny and slightly over the top 🤣
The actors have great chemistry both romantic and comedic.
Love the it's actually set in Toronto with nods to things in the area. Looking forward to seeing where this story goes from here.

EDIT 02/02/22:
Ok this show is growing on me fast. It's actually hilarious and although the characters are "over-performing", it works. The episodes are real-world parenting issues told in the most entertaining way. All cast (including the newest ones) are all excellent, and Letterkenny's Lisa Codrington as Marla is funny af. Meaghan Rath and Aaron Abrams are perfectly cast and their chemistry works like a charm. The little brats are still cute as ever. I'm upping my score to a 8/10. Can't wait to see what the writers come up with next.
Original review: If you're considering having kids, this show might change your mind. So far so good for the pilot. All the funny stuff shown in the TV trailers was pretty much in this episode, and was still funny. The cast and performances were spot on, and the little brats were, well, brats. For now it's a 7/10 because I've seen everything in the trailers and knew what I'd get, so let's see what the next episodes give us.

I have been cracking up since I put this on, and my husband would be too had he not passed out next to me due to a lack of sleep from the kids 😂. Seriously feels like someone wrote this after observing our lives. I feel so seen and heard watching this, and it's such a relief that it's not just me that experiences life as a mom like this!
ALSO- So sad to read the cruel comments from people - being a parent is hard, and it's not the best approach to give a lecture to someone that's struggling when they really just need a hug. Are we the best parents? Absolutely not, but we ARE TRYING and we LOVE EACHOTHER and our KIDS and this sitcom truly captures what that looks like (for us imperfect, loving, non-judgy folk)

For those who don't have a stick up their bottom about how perfect they and their kids are, you'll love this show!
For those whose reviews were insultingly bragging about how perfect they and their kids were, wait for the therapy bill when they get older, and be prepared to probably die alone, while they resent you for never letting them behave like children when they were children? And maybe pull the stick out a little since it is only a television show?
Hubby and I loved this show and how lighthearted it was! It didn't take itself too seriously, cover a lot of relatable topics, and, despite what some of the reviews say, does give some comparison to different parenting styles as well as opinions on having children at all.

I know its not artsy, its a typical rom com tv show.
Its not the best in the world like friends, but its watchable and fun.
The little girl is funny as well.
