Verdict of the movie..
Porus ( played by Vishal) a person with principles and adamant to go any extent to get the justice underwents turbulence in his life and how he reacts to it forms the rest part of the story....
Negativity of the film....
1) Not a out of the box topic, hero experiences injustice from the villain and the hero by his sheer determination and bravery gives a strong kick back...This plot we have seen in many movies in different versions...Here writer cum director presented the same in his version...
2) Topic of influenced people moulding the law and order for their own sake and how the righteous people fight for their justice is being portrayed which is also not a new one...
3) Dimple Hayathi portraying the female lead, not at all impressive in looks nor in her act...
4) Some situations portrayed which is not convincing.....
5) Baburaj, as an antagonist is well accepted in Malayalam films but when it comes to Kollywood, there is a vision of how an antagonist should be as in 4 different south languages, versions of an antagonist is different & on that ground I can say Baburaj gave a performance of 3/5 rate
Positivity...
1) Vishal performance was astounding...His aggressive, his emotional breakdown, his looks had been very well enacted.
2) Action well choreographed....
3) BGM, was good especially during the action sequences, it added the interest of the movie...
4) Topic of safety towards girls again being reminded through this which is to be noted...
5) Direction by Thu. Pa. Sarvanan was good enough to make the audience watchable for 2hrs 46 min...
Overall a watchable movie but not keeping much expectations....
