Road Trip

After directing hundreds of features for Marc Dorcel, Herve Bodilis appears to be rejuvenated with this very well-made diversion from his usual content (mainly bondage, submisssion and glamor exercises), simply delivering engaging escapism as three beauties leave Paris and end up as free spirits enjoying '60s style free love in Ibiza.

That gives the final product a vague resemblance to hedonism porn of yore, best typified in so many Private Media releases of a decade or so ago, travelling to the Caribbean or Asia for island getaways of surf and sun. Superstars Clea Gaultier and Bodilis regular Claire Castel are terrifically attractive, with a more mature CC boasting bigger boobs than before. And stealing the spotlight from them, especially in her effusive "Making of" comments spoken in English, is Cherry Kiss, my choice for the underrated Adult performer of recent times.

In the main feature, Cherry also speaks English, deftly integrated with the other t' French, offered with adequate dubbing in the choice of soundtracks on the DVD menu.

Story has the gals treated to lodging on the road by Kristof Cale, and romping with him and his friends on rocky beaches, in the ocean and in lavish digs. Subplot of Claire dealing with a cheating husband is okay if not very dramatic. Supporting cast of blonde lovelies Anny Aurora and Candice Jacobs is also effective.

All told, a welcome bit of assertive ladies in high spirits, contrasting with Bodilis' usual dark/kinky content about women submitting to men.
