In the end, it's six episodes of Kevin Hart defending himself and others explaining how hard he works, how successful he is, etc. It came off as more of a PR puff piece than a documentary examining the comedian's missteps.
I liked Kev', until I saw this. An ego a million times bigger than he is, constantly having to assert that he's 'the hardest working, more than ANYONE else' blah, blah, blah. At first we see him up, bright and early, with his personal trainer. That's for our benefit, to show how driven he is. It doesn't last, the next time his personal trainer has to wait two hours, which is 'normal' apparently. Mate, you are never going to be Oscar nominated, just look at the garbage you've put your name too so far, cheap throwaway comedy like Ride Along and B list animation voice overs, get over yourself.
I did two episodes and that was enough. Such a self absorbed, full of bull and fakery when dealing with others, constantly blowing his own trumpet, always putting others down and then forcing them to say they love him?! So disingenuous and delusional to the point where he asks his own questions and doesn't allow the doc makers to ask anything he doesn't like?
There's a reason why you only drive black sports cars, Kev, the urban myth seems to be 100% accurate in this case. Grow up, get a pair and get humble.
Even if you're not a Kevin Hart fan, this is an interesting view into a fascinating life. You won't regret watching it. And don't pay attention to the 1 ratings. They are just from people who can't forgive tweets from a decade ago.
The world is so PC now it's a joke. Everyone having a huff and puff about a joke that is 10 years old. Gay jokes were funny in the 80s and 90s. He apologised and people still wanted more. Show is good and gives a insight to his life and how hard he works
This is one long promo video of Kevin Hart promoting Kevin Hart. To call this a documentary is really pushing it. It's written, created and produced by Hart himself and to be honest, he does not come out like a nice person at all but it's obvious that he think he does and often the "documentary"really speaks down to it's audience. I used to be pretty neutral about Hart. I've seen some funny stuff in his stand up but he is in my opinion no Rock, Pryor, Murphy or Chappelle but this "documentary"really pushes to place him in that category or above. If you love Hart and would love to see Hart as he wants to be portrayed this is for you. If you like quality filmmaking and nuanced and objective journalism this is not. The 3 stars are for the cameo appearances.
