Acting,BGM, casting all are good, but the sequence present in the narcotics department are worse. Those scenes must be better than this. They didn't use new technologies while tracking and for the entire operation. Otherwise this was good series I'm waiting for second season.
Its a very true portrait of how most Indiansare - timid until they get a helping hand to attempt bold moves in life and once they do get bolder, there's no turning back. A good plot and good story showcasing psychology playing a big part in Indian cultures and mentality.
Would've got a 10 but the new villain just liking our undercover cop did not make any sense. They lost the plot there and could've done better .
The premise of She - Netflix India's latest show - is so promising that nothing less than an absurdly confused narrative with no sense of timing and tone might have messed it up.
Even the smarter subtexts are fetishized by the makers. For example, equating the stature of sex workers in society to that of female cops in a male-dominated police force.
The execution of the narrative - the cheesy cop-planning sessions, her training montage, her sister's desi spunk, the incoherent flashbacks is too cringey to examine the complexity of Bhumi's transformation.
Aaditi Pohankar's performance is brave but uneven; she struggles mostly because she has been directed according to a script rather than her character.
The anticlimactic finale is the final nail in the coffin.

Story creating a highly suspence ,crime ,underworld background ...But not fullfil that situation.it's random presentation. But sex related issue which was present by director is good. Character bhumi acting wonderful. Climax disappoint .
Bhumika 'Bhumi' Pardeshi is a Mumbai traffic cop who is recruited for a special undercover operation with the Anti Narcotics Group. She is to pose as a prostitute to get close to a crime lord. This is not easy as she is naturally shy. Away from work she is in the process of divorcing her husband. She lives with her sick mother and under sister, who is a student. As the series progresses her character develops as she learns how to use her sexuality, both at work and away.
This seven part Indian police drama is solid enough although not the best example of the genre. There are plenty of tense moments although many of these are due to Bhumi having inadequate support at key moments. The acting is decent, Aaditi Pohankar stands out as Bhumi; at first I was unsure about her performance but as the series progressed I thought she was nicely capturing her character's awkwardness. The finale doesn't wrap things up so I was pleased to read that it has been renewed for a second season. Overall a decent enough crime drama; not a must see but it passes the time well enough.
