To be fair, I am only rating this show after watching only a couple of episodes from season 4. As a kid, I LOVED Who Wants to Be a Millionaire with Regis Philbin. Even thought the concept of the show is pretty simple, it's just one of the best game shows out there. This modern reboot just doesn't have the same shine that the old show has.
I have to admit, when I'm not watching Kimmel (I don't anyways I'm team Fallon) on his show being super political, he's actually pretty good here as the host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? In place of the Late Regis Philbin.
Discovered last year that they brought back the show back during CoVid. I also love how They have celebrities on this one. Makes it wild, makes it fun. Really tests the celebrity contestants knowledge. It makes for very great entertainment.
I will admit they can get a little off track at times away from the game. However, I know every game show has those moments. Either way, I'm glad they brought back this classic game show and they give nice little in memory of Regis moments from back in the day. And I'm glad it's not going anywhere.
