Boss Paul Ford and wife Flora Campbell are coming over for dinner at Dean Harens and Patricia Barry's house. But it's hard to entertain when the fuses blow every few minutes because of inadequate wiring.
This industrial film was paid for by Consolidated Edison, and they could afford to hire some good actors. James Gregory plays the electrician who explains what's what in this movie, and his distinctive voice and almost natural look are already in evidence. Industrial films clearly paid well; the pity is that they were short-term jobs, and even the best of performers are always wondering where their next gig is coming from.
