Originally in the script, there was a scene set in the woods in which Edward and Emilia were supposed to go for a picnic. But when it came to filming the scene it had snowed in the UK. But it worked for the better has it showed the passage of time in Edward and Emilia's relationship. It was Director/Writer/Producer Harry Downing's favourite scene to film.
