Confessions of a Time Traveler - The Man from 3036

I think the first thing anyone would ask is, "Why did you come back to this time?" and it's not even in their top 5. He doesn't have any trepidation with sharing a ton of specific information about events in the future. Interesting, but as a home-made Youtube video, or mockumentary. Could've been really good, if they'd thought any of this out.

This is really unwatchable. A guy made this in a weekend it seems like, he talks to an "interviewer" about the future, claiming he is from 1000 years ahead of us. Despite this, he talks exactly the same as us, dresses the same, failed to predict COVID-19, and generally makes very embarrassing statements that a child claiming to be from the future probably would make. This wasn't even bad enough to laugh at, it was just pathetic. By the end there are a couple additions or wrinkles to the plot, but there is an extreme lack of work put into them, so each "revelation" lands a complete and utter dud.

Stay far, far away. Only giving 2 stars because I think that hurts the movie in the algorithm more. No stars / 5

It's obvious this isn't a documentary, and it's not even a good fake. Consider this: in more than 1,000 years, the English language would almost certainly have changed to a point where it would be difficult to understand. A thousand years ago what you and I know as the English language was vastly different. This twit speaks just like someone from the present day. There are so many other things. I'm not so bothered by the film itself, but by the claim that this _is_ a documentary rather than a simulated documentary.

I agree with a previous commenter that 1000 years from now language would be completely different from what we're hearing come out of his mouth just as it was 1000 years ago. This is pretty home-cooked. At least the Blair Witch film had a few surprises. That all said, I can't totally disagree with some of the points written in to the dialogue. We do seem Hell bent on self destruction. I just think it'll be quicker than 3036.
