R BnB

This is C level, maybe even D level, movie making. I could have given it 4 for the honest effort. You can't rightly blame the makers of it to give it the old college try, but you just can't pull it off with bad acting, bad writing, bad direction, bad structure, bad chemistry.

If you read through the reviews with the high ratings, you can discern their falsity. It's not that difficult, and I knew going in there was a very good chance that's what they were, false and simply trying to boost its rating. You can surmise that from the trailer alone, actually.

Consider my words a public service announcement for the savings of a few dollars. For superb horror, watch "The Changeling" instead, from 1980, with George C. Scott. That's how it's done.

Honestly, I think the plot and movie itself was great! It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat! I really enjoyed the unpleasantness of the story line. Absolutely appalling ending, which I also loved! Wasn't expecting exactly how it ended, which I find rare for me most of the time. I don't think I've seen another movie quite like it. If anything, I believe what the movie really lacked was good transition visuals. The movie jumps around in the timeline, but the edits for the transitions weren't great, which could cause some confusion and possibly a disliking for the movie overall. Although as I said, the plot was great. Kept me on my toes, not to mention the acting was amazing! I definitely recommend watching for a spooky, chilling vibe.

Was not expecting to be drawn into this story so quickly.

The actors were superb, and I loved the scenes with the drones. Well Done! I believe the movie was filmed in the Hudson Valley, New York, which is why the scenery is spectacular. The movie immediately startles you, to the very last camera shot. If you like suspense/thriller movies, this one is for you. R BnB might make you to think twice, when next planning your next weekend getaway. This movie has a Hitchcock twist, which will make movie viewers think of the Carry Grant scene in, "North by aborthwest". I would definitely recomend this movie.

A review for "Robert Mann's R BnB" (Mannatee Films)starring Ryon Thomas, Bryanna McQueeney, Gloria Mann, Agnes Artych, Alex Galick and Marco Reese Maldonado: An enjoyable thriller that just dropped on multiple streaming platforms, with the unfolding story punctuated by flashbacks, adding to the overall tension.

In a post-modern play on the classic "Old Dark House" motif, an affluent New York couple visiting an Air B&B too late realizes that they're being secretly video recorded by a murderous couple, with a Hitchcockian reveal at the end. Filmed in New York's beautiful but brooding Hudson Valley region during the autumn, the excellent cinematography by film veteran Al Satterwhite raises the film to a higher standard than one might expect. With a wonderfully creepy old Dutch-style gate house as the eponymous B & B, this reminds of the old Hammer Films horrors.

The creepy Kylo (played by Alex Galick, of Fractured) and absolutely unhinged Aubree (played by Savannah Whitten, of Impossible Monsters and Lilith) are standout characters, but the absorbing loner character of Jennifer Davies, the tough, overprotective sister of the protagonist (grippingly and powerfully played by Gloria Mann of Point Break, The Lennon Report, The Cassie Confession) is an especially welcome release to the building tension.

Overall, R BnB is a new thriller well worth watching.

I was immediately into the characters and the premise of RBnB--the gorgeous couple, the edgy sister, the strange BnB keepers. And of course the gorgeous Hudson River Valley! The further into the story you get, the closer to the edge of your seat you sit! In truth, I've now watched the movie more than once, and I still find it edgy! What exactly is motivating all of this behavior? Do we really know these characters or not? What exactly happens at the end?

Watch it for yourself! It'll grab you and keep you there! I loved it!!!Hats off to the great team, the great location, the great sound! Will there be a sequel?
