How would you react if the love of your life came back 10 years later and wanted you? And decided to declare this in a public area? Awkward and heartbreaking. This is an engaging and delicious short film with sparkling performances. The actors do a great job, in particular Sandra Huggett, drawing you into their world with ease. I believed in them totally. The writing is so subtle and there is a wealth of subtext in each line. It plays out elegantly, like a classical composition. The visual style hints at the decadent, with a rich red tone saturating the film. The wardrobe and make-up reminded me of Almodovar's women. Extremely entertaining. I could watch this over and over again.
