Weak script, too slow, mediocre acting and so many illogical scenes.
How come a movie contains so many illogical scenes and still netflix is buying this kind of movies?
If you are a person who like spy movies/series and expect to get blown away by spy like skills, then this movie is not for you. 30minutes in the movie and it will bore the heck out of you. You will feel cheated for the time you are planning to spend on this movie.
You not only wll be disappointed but will definitely get angry with this mockery.
Good that this movie is released in netflix otherwise viewers would have hated spending money on multiplexes.

I don't know how long Indian audiences will keep giving 10 stars to such BS movies. No solid plots, spies are super lucky, all security personnels of the enemy are dumb, unnecessary and unrealistic fighting scene-- all the components of a cheap spy movie you will find in this movie. The movie could be a good one, yes.. it has that potential, but the scriptwriter or the director did not want to use their head.
To make matters worse, Siddharth failed to do a great job here, despite having some good opportunities to demonstrate his acting ability. Throughout the movie, for the spying part, he looked happy-go-lucky. He failed to portray the tension or suspense or thrill of spying in enemy army territory.
If you are into spy movie, watch Romeo-Akber-Walter and Phantom movies. Those two are gems compared to this Mission Majnu movie.

This movie is a mixture of Fanna, D-Day and little bit of Ek tha Tiger!!. I don't know why people are giving 10 stars!!
The train scene where Sidharth Malhotra was wearing turban, I have never seen such a wonderful overacting!!! So stupid!! It is so evident to see that he is doing bad acting but people are still giving high ratings.
This is a propaganda movie and nothing else. Pakistan, Indra Gandhi, Army, Britishers and few other topics, that's all Indian movies has to offer now!!
I wonder when they will end this kind of stuff. Nothing looks realistic and they want to compete with English Movies!!

"Mission Majnu," an espionage romantic thriller on Netflix, is based on true events from the 1970s when Pakistan was secretly developing a nuclear bomb. The film follows Indian spies' efforts to uncover this clandestine operation.
The story centers on Amandeep Singh, who, under the alias Tariq, poses as a tailor and falls in love with a local blind girl, Nasreen. His mission is to locate Pakistan's secret nuclear facility and halt the bomb-making process.
While the plot is somewhat predictable, the lead actors' performances, along with the narration, tight screenplay, and execution, make it a thoroughly engaging movie. Siddharth Malhotra's portrayal of his character is particularly commendable. Kumud Mishra and Shabir Hashmi also deliver excellent performances, and Rashmika Mandanna convincingly plays the protagonist's blind love interest and wife. Some scenes are genuinely moving. The songs are well-placed and enjoyable, though the background score could have been better. The cinematography is good, though not exceptional. Despite a few moments where the film loses momentum, debut director Shantanu Bagchi has crafted an engaging espionage thriller, even if there are areas for improvement.

The plot is about a young Indian spy ( Sidharth Malhotra) positioned in Pakistan and who masquerades as a tailor. Reminded me of the title of an old movie " Tinker tailor soldier spy" since the hero here is a tailor and a spy also. ( Only title, not plot). If you agree that a spy can be emotional, can fall in love, get married and continue spying in that country then this movie is for you. The movie has a long runtime and maybe the long winded story required it. It is to the credit of the screen writer and the director that the story moves smoothly though there may be technical inaccuracies because it is based on real events. To me the depiction of events during the period 1970s like the 71 war, Pokharan nuclear blast, Prime Minister Bhutto's tirade, takeover of Pakistan government by General Zia, PM Indira Gandhi's emergency etc are fairly well covered. How the spy manages to locate the clandestine nuclear facility in Pakistan overcoming obstacles forms the plot. He has earlier got married to a blind Pakistan girl ( Rashmika Mandanna) which gives an emotional touch.
Director Shantanu Bagchi has made an interesting movie which keeps the audience engaged with enough of sentiment and dramatic scenes. One should sit back and watch the movie without asking questions. Some passable acting comes from Siddharth Malhotra, Rashmika Mandana, Kumud Mishra and Sharib Hashmi. The depiction of the famous personalities from history is done fairly well except maybe General Zia where the actor overacts. Use of stock shots from history is appropriate.

- CuriosidadesMission Majnu was an actual debut for actress Rashmika Mandanna in Hindi films. However, as the film faced numerous delays, Goodbye (2022) had became her Bollywood debut.
- Erros de gravaçãoWhile driving to Brigadier's house (to patch missing buttons), Sidharth drives through the security gate carrying a box on his scooter. But the same is not visible before and after crossing the gate.
